Whether requesting an employer’s reference, changing marital status, applying for further training or recording working hours: Employees expect a good user experience in the digital HR world – preferably at the click of a button.

Managers and HR, on the other hand, want to be able to make their decisions in the future increasingly based on data-driven knowledge. This calls for a modern and data-backed HR IT architecture, or a HR Hub as it is known. bbv developed a product based on this principle for the Avenir Group.

The Avenir Group is a leading Swiss consulting and services company in the area of human resources management. With a workforce of more than 100 people, it advises customers from a host of different sectors on all HR-related matters.

HR Hub eases the burden on employees, managers and HR

The HR Hub puts people first. For employees, the web-based portal represents the central point of entry for all HR topics. The HR Hub ensures greater efficiency and eases the burden on employees, managers and HR. It is based on the self-service principle and offers a topic-based overview with clearly structured user journeys.

Whether recruiting, onboarding, time recording, advanced training or retirement/resignation – the HR Hub bundles all information and allows it to be retrieved with ease. The HR Hub is user-friendly and allows employees and managers to communicate and collaborate with HR with ease.

The HR Hub also displays all relevant key figures for data-driven HR in a central dashboard. This means that HR and managers can keep an eye on the most important HR key figures at all times. The basis for this is a clean pool of data, which is fed from the existing HR applications and prepared visually.

Modular and forward-looking solution

With the HR Hub, bbv has developed a best-of-breed solution. This means that all HR applications commonly used in Switzerland can be connected via interface and configured according to customer requirements.

The aggregated data is combined, visualised in an attractive dashboard and forms the basis for analytics and forecasts. Automated reports keep managers and HR up to date on their workforce.

Thanks to the use of leading technologies (cloud, .NET, Angular), the HR Hub is a forward-looking solution that supports agile collaboration in companies.


Co-creation from vision to finished product

bbv accompanied Avenir as a solution partner from vision to MVP to finished product. The bestshoring approach with a PO proxy at bbv Greece and the development by bbv Vietnam allowed fast and professional implementation under attractive conditions.

In addition to Avenir, the city of Lucerne also makes use of the HR Hub. The HR Hub is being enhanced continually, with a ticketing and notification system being deployed, for example, with Version 2.0.
