CSS Insurance develops its core applications in its own IT department. Because some of the teams already had positive experience with scrum, the entire team was now to be trained in scrum. bbv performed the training on site over two days.
CSS Insurance has a number of teams in its in-house development department. Scrum techniques were already being used in some teams and the experience was positive, while other teams were still using the rational unified process. bbv was engaged to train all employees in scrum.
In particular, bbv was to also take account of the existing situation concerning training and answer questions from current projects. Current processes, interfaces and responsibilities were discussed in advance and questions gathered from the teams who already had experience of scrum. The training itself was conducted locally over two days. The wealth of practical experience with scrum offered by the bbv trainers proved extremely valuable.
